Quiz on the topic "The World of languages and cultures: test your knowledge!"

On September 6, 2024, lectures of the English language of department of the SGS held a quiz on the topic "The World of languages and cultures: test your knowledge!" dedicated to the Day of Languages of the Peoples of Kazakhstan. The quiz questions cover topics related to Kazakh, Russian, English languages and cultures. This format allows students to demonstrate their knowledge, improve their intercultural communication skills and better understand cultural and linguistic diversity. During the event, the importance of the native language was discussed, as well as the study of foreign languages.

Knowledge of any foreign language gives a person the opportunity to get acquainted with the culture and traditions of other countries, promotes the development of thinking, imagination and memory. This knowledge is also necessary for the effective interaction of states with each other in many spheres of life – science, politics, culture, art and others.
