The University students' House is designed for 680 seats. The hostel has a student dining room, rest rooms, and reading rooms on each floor with full internet access.
In the future, it is planned to open a coworking center, a gym and conference rooms. We hope that living in a multifunctional House of students thanks to comfortable conditions will allow you to gain high-quality knowledge and become highly qualified specialists.
Accommodation
THE PROCEDURE FOR PROVIDING A PLACE IN STUDENT DORMITORIES TO STUDENTS IN KazUTB
There is a student dormitory at the university to accommodate visitors and foreign students.
Places in dormitories are provided by the deans of faculties, according to the approved Regulations on the procedure for providing places to students and the Rules of residence in KazUTB student dormitories.
To do this, the training must:
- Fill out an application addressed to the rector for the provision of a place in the hostel.
- To conclude an agreement with the university for the provision of a place in a dormitory and on the responsibility of the parties.
- Pass a medical examination.
- Make a payment to JSC "Bank CenterCredit" for accommodation in a hostel in the amount of 100% before receiving a check-in order.
- Go through electronic registration with the Vice-rector for Educational Work and Social Issues.
- Get a warrant for living in a dormitory from the deputy dean of the faculty.
- With all the documents, go to the commandant to get a place in the room.
RESIDENTS OF THE HOSTEL HAVE THE RIGHT TO
- to live in a fixed dwelling for the entire period of study, subject to compliance with the Internal Regulations and the contract;
- use sanitary facilities (rooms, showers, toilets, etc.), equipment and property of the hostel;
- to move from one dwelling to another only with the written permission of the deputy deans of faculties;
- to elect and be elected to the student council, to take part in its work, to make proposals for improving housing and cultural services and to achieve their implementation.
RESIDENTS OF THE HOSTEL ARE OBLIGED TO
- strictly observe the internal regulations, safety regulations, fire safety, contract and other acts regulating the issues of living in a hostel;
- use electricity and water sparingly. When leaving a residential (or sanitary) room, close water taps, windows, vents, doors, turn off lighting and electrical appliances;
- to hand over the spare key from the living room for storage to the hostel janitor, use the living room strictly for living, do not transfer the key and do not provide the living room (place in it) to unauthorized persons;
- take care of the property of the hostel, keep the living room and common areas clean, perform regular cleaning in your living room;
- bear full financial responsibility for the property of the hostel received for individual use; in case of damage (loss) of the specified property, as well as in case of detection of damage to premises, furniture, other property (power grids, window panes, doors, locks, lamps, etc.), reimburse the full cost of the material damage caused.
- return the property of the hostel after eviction;
- do not allow guests to be in the living room, unless there is the consent of the neighbors and the permission of the university administration, the commandant of the dormitory.
RESIDENTS OF THE HOSTEL ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED
- to move in and move from one dwelling to another without the written permission of the deputy deans of faculties and the visa of the vice-rector of the VRISV. Living in the wrong residential premises, which is indicated in the warrant, is a gross violation of the internal regulations;
- arbitrarily transfer the property of the hostel received for individual use from one residential premises to another without the written permission of the commandant of the hostel;
- to transfer your pass for admission to the hostel to another person;
- smoking in all rooms of the hostel, staying in the hostel in a state of alcoholic, narcotic or toxic intoxication, as well as storage, use and distribution of alcoholic beverages, narcotic and psychotropic substances;
- turn on audio, television and video equipment at a volume exceeding the audibility within the premises;
- keep animals (including pets), reptiles, birds; litter on the territory of the hostel, leave garbage in the corridors, in the kitchen and other common areas;
- use electrical equipment, including electrical connectors and adapters that do not have quality certificates;
- go out on the roof, climb to the attic, stand and sit on window sills and railings;
- gambling, using obscene language, organizing fights and brawls;
- enter the living quarters of other residents without their consent.
Those living in the hostel who violate the above requirements of the Internal Regulations, as well as Safety regulations, fire safety, sanitary rules, employment contract, disrespectful to the maintenance staff and administration, members of the student council of the hostel, floor elders and senior living quarters, are evicted from the hostel without the right to refund the remaining amount of payment for accommodation.
ADMISSION TO THE HOSTEL AND THE ORDER OF VISITING GUESTS
- Entrance to the hostel is carried out strictly by a pass of the established sample. The pass is issued by the commandant of the hostel and is the main document for entering the hostel. In case of loss of the pass, it needs to be restored.
- Entrance to the hostel is allowed in spring and summer from 07:00 to 23:00, in autumn and winter from 07:00 to 22:00.
