Academic mobility is an element of internationalization
Academic mobility is the movement of students or teachers (researchers) to another educational institution (within the country or abroad) for a certain academic period (semester or academic year) for the purpose of studying or conducting research.
Academic mobility is implemented at the university on the basis of existing agreements, agreements and memoranda with foreign higher education institutions of the following countries: Russia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Latvia, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Cyprus.
And there is also cooperation within the framework of academic mobility with 22 Kazakhstani universities in the following cities: Almaty, Taraz, Pavlodar, Kokshetau, Karaganda, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Uralsk, Aktobe, Zhezkazgan, Turkestan, Kyzylorda.
According to the results of academic mobility, students are given a transcript indicating the mastered academic disciplines and the amount of academic credits, which are necessarily counted in their "native" educational institution.
Registration of students wishing to study at another university within the framework of academic mobility is carried out on the basis of the following documents:
1) application;
2) transcript;
3) individual curriculum;
4) questionnaire;
5) order;
6) the agreement is tripartite.
Academic mobility has a positive effect on the development of interpersonal communication skills, personal maturity. Students not only grow up during their stay in another country, but also acquire cross-cultural competencies.
