On March 27 to April 3, 2025, the T. Zhurgenov National Academy of Arts in Almaty hosted the XVII Republican subject olympiad, organized among students of creative universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was attended by students of the educational programs 6B02100-«Design (Fashion design)» and «Design (Graphic design)» of the TLPiD Department of the Kazakh University of Technology and Business named after K.Kulazhanov.

In the Olympiad in the direction of «Costume design of theater and cinema», student Koyshybek Marzhan with the composition «Kazakh Walsi» took the third place. In the direction of «Fashion Design», student Mukhamedkali Aruzhan was awarded the third place with the figurative-associative composition «Sogystan bosatu dauiri».

Nargiz Kargasheva, a student, was awarded the Algys Hat for her active participation and special talent.

According to OP 6B02100-Design (Graphic design), 3rd-year student Khalilinova Merey and 4th-year student Musina Dilara took part in the Olympiad. Following the results of the Olympiad, Khalilinova Merey took 2nd place with a composition on the theme «Profession of the future».

Musina Dilara was awarded the Algys Hat for her active participation in the Olympiad.
