Within the framework of the week of the Department of Tourism and Service, a subject Olympiad and a competition of students' research papers were successfully held in the groups of educational programs "Tourism" and " Restaurant and Hotel Business".

The events were attended by students of various courses who presented many unique projects reflecting modern challenges and innovative approaches in the tourism, hotel and restaurant sectors. The projects covered a wide range of topics, from the development of inclusive tourism and sustainable ecotourism to the introduction of smart technologies in hotel management and digitalization of services. The jury members, including representatives of employers, noted the high level of training of the participants, creative ideas and the practical significance of the proposed solutions. In particular, projects for the development of gastronomic tourism, branding of the territories of Kazakhstan and the strategic development of online travel agencies were highlighted.

Following the results of the Olympiad and the R&D competition, the winners were awarded with diplomas and valuable prizes. Their works will be recommended for further participation in national and international competitions, which underlines the importance of the event for the professional growth of students and strengthening their ties with the industry.
