A round table on the topic «The state and prospects of the development of light industry. The link between science and production» was held on March 13, 2025, in the offline and online format, moderated by Umralieva Bela Illaridanovna, Ph.D., Acting Professor.

At the beginning of the work, the participants of the round table were greeted by Zhazira Bolatbekovna Bayzhanova, Ph.D., Assoc.Professor, it was noted to her that the idea of this topic was born collectively with the faculty of the department: «The main purpose of this event is to increase the demand for our educational programs among applicants and graduates in the industry based on close interaction between the university, enterprises, industry associations, as well as international cooperation.»

The round table was attended by leading scientists of the Tashkent Institute of Textile and light industry:

  • Gulmira Bekenovna Uakhitova, Chairman of the Board of the Self-regulatory Organization «Qaz Textile Industry»;

  • Basheev Asker Shariyazdanovich, CEO of BenchMark Consulting LLP, an accredited expert marketing company of NATR JSC, founder of Sewing Factory of School and Children's Clothing LLP;

  • Kaldybaev Rashid Turdybaevich, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Technology and Design of Light Industry Products at the SKSU named after M.Auezov;

  • Aleskerov, Vladimir Vladimirovich, General Director of A.V.Group LLP, Chairman of the Regional Council of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Karaganda region on behalf of the City Council of Entrepreneurs of Saran;

The range of issues of the round table highlighted topical issues of the current situation both in industry and in the educational services market and university relations with enterprises, such as the introduction of research results into production, which found an active response from the participants. As a result of the discussion, new forms of cooperation between the participants of the round table were born.
