On February 3, 2025, the Department of «Tourism and Service» hosted an international round table on the topic: "Improving practice-oriented education in the field of tourism and the hospitality industry: the interaction of theory and practice."

The event was attended by Vice Minister of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerkinbayev E.M., Rector of K. Kulazhanov KazUTB university Baibolova L.K., leading scientists of foreign partner universities: Professor Antalya Bilim University Demet Ceylan (Turkish Republic), Professor F. Skorina Gomel State University, Flerko T.G. (Republic of Belarus); representatives of business communities: General Manager of Rixos President Astana, Tercan Tansel, President of the Association of Tour Operators of Kazakhstan - Rey I.Yu., directors of KF "Kamkor" Yesilov A.B. and others.

The participants exchanged their work experience and worked out joint solutions on topical issues of cooperation between universities and employers.
